HandsOn worked with the St. James’s Place Leeds team to deliver new facilities for the local Reach Primary Learning Centre.

Directors, financial advisors and support staff from St. James’s Place and the Leeds partnerships, all got involved to build the school a huge range of new play equipment, growing tables, an outdoor classroom and a chicken pen.

The team renovated the school’s greenhouse, that had been left unused for years, and built new growing tables so that children can now use the space to learn about planting and nature.

The new swing bars and traverse wall was a big hit with the pupils, who immediately stormed them when the space was opened at the end of the week.

We also built a dedicated chicken pen and coop for the school to keep chickens, which along with all the other elements we built, will add new and exciting experiences for the pupils and build upon the rich curriculum that the school offers.
